Xota (Xote ou Chotiça em português) is a type of dance and tune that name has its origins in pre-roman Scottish tribal dances, becoming popular in Spain and Portugal around the 13th and 14th century.
Muiñeira is the windmill / watermill dance, which used to be played around the mills while grinding the grains.
